Children’s Foundation School was established by Mr Shourabh Mukerji in 1982 with the revered blessings of Mother Teresa. The foundation stone was laid by Shri B. D. Pande, the then Governor of West Bengal.
Over the years, CFS has earned a reputation for itself for providing quality education that is child-friendly and value driven.
The school is affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), New Delhi. The first batch of students for the ICSE examination appeared in March 2020 and for the ISC examination in March 2022.
