Get in touchAt Children’s Foundation School, we are committed towards dedicating the minds of our students to enquiry, their hearts to compassion and their lives to service. This is encapsulated in the School Motto – ‘ENTER TO LEARN, DEPART TO SERVE’.
Our aim is to impart a good standard of purposeful education and to nurture talent and create opportunities in a happy, stress-free environment.
At Children’s Foundation School (CFS), we strive to instil a strong sense of social commitment among our students and to open their minds to the needs of the underprivileged sections of the society. CFS currently supports 3 pre-primary and primary schools - called ‘Khelaghar’ in rural South 24 Parganas, West Bengal.
Even after 2 decades of intervention, rural child care centres have been unable to provide high quality care and education at the pre and primary school level, resulting in a large number of children being unfit for school at the age of 6 years. It has also led to a high incidence of dropouts in primary and elementary schools.
It is this lacuna that Children’s Foundation School (CFS) is trying to fill. ‘Khelaghar’ schools are also the nucleus from which various initiatives pertaining to nutrition, health and hygiene, social advocacy and community development have evolved.
